About Frederick l'Ecole des Arts
Mission and Vision:
Frederick l’Ecole des Arts et al is a 501c3 non-profit arts organization dedicated to providing a stage/platform/gallery for creative living by facilitating community, economic, and artistic/cultural development. Our goal is to educate the public about the importance of the Arts and the positive effects it has on preserving and promoting the culture of the Greater Acadiana Area while providing a better understanding of the artistic contributions made by other cultures of the world, particularly the French culture so prevalent in the region.
Named for one of the first families to inhabit Arnaudville, Frederick L'Ecole des Arts, Inc., a non-profit, volunteer-driven corporation, was established in June 2007.
A Little History
On Saturday, October 27, 2007, the Frederick l'Ecole des Arts Stage was dedicated at NuNu's Nightlite in the Town Market Centre. The Frederick Family celebrated a reunion and it was the perfect opportunity to invite the group to the Town Market to witness firsthand the many activities that are provided. La Table Francaise was in progress and the many Fredericks who speak French were in good company.
